About

Mason, soon after graduating, headed to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where he spent several years training and ultimately received his BFA in Musical Theatre. During the COVID-19 pandemic, much of that time was spent acting through a small screen on Zoom, when there was little else to do.

Concerned, disheartened, and seeking clarity, he took a remote job—along with millions of others—and spent time traveling across America as a vagabond, stepping away from acting for a period.

In this time, known as the Dark Age, he had very little patience for life. It wasn’t until he returned to St. Louis—the opposite of what happened to Tennessee Williams—that he rediscovered his passions, waiting there for him like a familiar friend, and was cast as Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde: The Musical at Tesseract Theatre Company thanks to both Will Bonfiglio and Larry Pry.

He is deeply grateful for the opportunities ahead and for the many trials that came before. He would love to connect over an Americano and talk about passions, love, and desires with just about anyone—rooting others on through a shared sense of commonality and a curious heart, grounded in a humble acceptance of not knowing anything for certain.

He loves spending time with his partner Jai and their companion Squirrel.
